Strohecker works closely with the leading furnace builders and often designs and manufactures the first crucibles for a new installation.

Our uniquely specialized engineering staff provides over 60 years of combined engineering experienced in the design of water-cooled copper fixtures for demanding heat transfer requirements. Up-to-date CAD skills, 3-D Modeling and computer-assisted analysis of water flow and heat transfer patterns allow us to create efficient, durable and reparable crucibles, molds, hearths and related equipment

Our substantial experience in repairing and upgrading existing crucibles enables us to inject a practical fabricator's perspective into the design process for a new installation.

Our ongoing dialog with melt shop personnel keeps us abreast of the problems that often arise when new metallurgical requirements complicate day-to-day melting operations. We can anticipate important issues that may arise when new crucible sizes and shapes are contemplated.
